And Mosheh said, “Let no one leave any of it until morning.” And they did not listen to Mosheh, so some of them left part of it until morning, and it bred worms and stank. And Mosheh was wroth with them. Exo 16:19-20
In the previous study we read how Mosheh told them to collect manna according to what they needed. We continue today in that Mosheh told them not to keep any left overs. They did not listen. Remember how in the beginning of the “manna” study we learned how Yahuah was going to test Israel whether they will obey Him? Let us have a quick look at that verse again.
And Yahuah said to Mosheh, “See, I am raining bread from the heavens for you. And the people shall go out and gather a day’s portion every day, in order to try them, whether they walk in My Torah or not. Exo 16:4
Some obviously did not obey Yahuah.
This is a short study but we will continue in the next one. But maybe we can think about this one for a while.
Until next time.
